Body of Review:
The Vast of Night is a solid film. It leaves you yearning for more while keeping the intensity cranked just enough. You wonder a little about how these young people would abandon their jobs a bit early, but a little lip service covers that. You can easily see young people on the verge of their lives searching for something outside of the town.
